One of the cool things about being a photojournalist is that you meet a lot of interesting people, but it’s frustrating that often you only have a few minutes with them. This was the case when I went to photograph Dwaine Anderson, a WWII vet. I got there and he already had his uniform on (amazing-he still had it) and busted out his case of medals. We didn’t have much time to chat, but he seemed pretty excited and proud to have his picture taken.
